The death toll in the Sigachi Pharma chemical factory explosion in Sangareddi district has climbed to 34 as rescue and recovery operations continued late into Tuesday.
The explosion occurred on Monday and over a dozen workers sustained injuries in the blast.
Many of them with critical burns.
Telangana Chief Minister Revant Reddy who visited the site refused to disclose preliminary investigation findings citing ongoing probe.
